HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in, and be under the control and management of, the Palmerston North City Council.

ALL that piece of land containing 134 square metres, situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District, being Lot 15, D.P. 42064. Part certificate of title, No. 16B/1330.

Lake Sumner State Forest Park Advisory Committee

PURSUANT to the State Forest Park Regulations 1969, I hereby appoint

Member and Chairman of the Number Three Division of the Planning Tribunal Appointed

Stipendiary Magistrate, to be a member and Chairman of the Number Three Division of the Planning Tribunal for a term of 3 years on and from 8 June 1978.

Stipendiary Magistrate Appointed

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Magistrate’s Court Act 1947, and section 7 (2) of the Domestic Proceedings Act 1968, and section 21 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1974, His Excellency, the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Peter Robert Skelton, Esquire

of Hamilton, barrister, to be a Stipendiary Magistrate, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand, the jurisdiction of the Children and Young Persons Courts, and the domestic jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Courts.

Re-appointment of Temporary Judge of Supreme Court

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Judicature Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, has been pleased to appoint

The Honourable James Walker Bain

to be a Judge of the Supreme Court for a further period of 6 months from the expiry of His Honour’s present term of office, namely, 19 June 1978.
