NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928. A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu. Every person directly affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Wellington, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

CHATHAM ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND AND CLOSE ROADS UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928 AND THE PUBLIC WORKS AMENDMENT ACT 1948

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Chatham Islands require to take the lands described in Schedules A-G hereto for the purposes of a public work, namely a road, and to close those parts of roads described in Schedules H-I hereto.

Notice is hereby further given that the plans showing the lands to be taken and the parts of roads to be closed (Nos. S.O. 30263, S.O. 30271, and S.O. 30272) are open to inspection by all persons at the following places:

1. The office of the Chatham Islands County Council, Waitangi, Chatham Islands; and,
2. The offices of Messrs Macalister, Mazengarb, Parkin & Rose, Solicitors, National Bank Building, Featherston Street, Wellington.

Every person affected by such taking is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said lands or any of them, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Chatham Islands County Council, Waitangi, Chatham Islands. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
