Land Proclaimed as Road; Road Closed and Vested and Land Taken and Vested in Blocks XI and XVI, Oteramika Hundred, Southland County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Southland County Council, hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29, and declares that the road described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, and the land described in the said Third Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in Hugh Thomson McLeary and Robert Hugh McLeary of Mataura Island, farmers, as tenants-in-common in equal shares, subject to mortgages No. 215361 and 005280.1, and subject to mortgage No. 028299.2, affecting the half share of Robert Hugh McLeary only, Southland Land Registry.
