A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be set apart for a limited access road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of June 1978.

PURSUANT to subsection 5 of section 23 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1958, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby applies the provisions of subsection 4 of section 23 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1958 to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of land containing 6 acres and 20.15 perches (2.4791 hectares), situated in Block XI, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., being part land on D.P. 3177, being part Sections 14 and 15, Watts Peninsula District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158244 (S.O. 24224), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue. Exempting Lands in Westland Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby exempt the lands described in the Schedule hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.

Reserving nevertheless unto the Crown firstly, in terms of section 168A of the Coal Mines Act 1925, all coal existing in its natural condition on or under the surface of the said land, and secondly in terms of section 8 of the Mining Act
