To raise a loan to be known as the Staff Housing Loan 1977—$50,000, for the purpose of lending to staff members to enable them to purchase their own homes, or purchasing or erecting houses for staff members; and
-
That such loan shall be borrowed on the terms and conditions prescribed by the Local Authorities Loan Board and contained in the Notification of Sanction to Loan in respect to such loan dated 6 December 1977; and
-
That the security for the said loan shall be a special rate of decimal point nought, nought, four, six, seven cents in the dollar (.00467 cents in the dollar) on the capital value of all rateable property in the Marlborough Catchment District; and
-
That public notice of this resolution shall contain a statement that poll of ratepayers is required to be taken on the proposal to raise the loan if fifteen per centum (15%) or more of the ratepayers so demand in writing; and
-
That the foregoing resolution be submitted to a meeting of board to be held in the Boardroom, 22 Nelson Street, Blenheim, on Tuesday, 11 April 1978, at 11 a.m., for confirmation as a special Order.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Marlborough Catchment Board held on the 11th day of April 1978.
