  1. In consequence, the Commission has found it necessary to alter the dates for certain hearings subsequent to sector No. 5. This will not only accommodate the request of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation, but will also enable the parties to the hearings to meet promptly the various closing dates for submissions so that the Commission is able to gain full benefit from the views put forward therein and to provide adequate time for the exchange of submissions between parties.

  2. The amended commencement dates and order of the public hearings (sector hearings) are set out in the Schedule to this notice. The closing dates for submissions to any of the sector hearings remains at 1 month prior to the commencement of the hearing to which the submission relates.
