PURSUANT to section 10 of the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand hereby reappoint Leo John Sullivan, of Wellington, Secretary, as Deputy to Neil Albert Algar

on the National Water and Soil Conservation Authority.

Appointing a Member and Deputy Member of the Engineering Associates Registration Board

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Engineering Associates Registration Act 1961, the Minister of Works and Development hereby appoints

William Carter Hall, of Wellington, engineer, as a member of the Board, and

Noel William Sutton, of Wellington, technical correspondence institute tutor, as Mr Hall's deputy.

The appointments are for a term of 2 years from the date of this appointment.

Appointing a Member of the Engineering Associates Registration Board

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Engineering Associates Registration Act 1961, the Minister of Works and Development hereby appoints

Roger Norman Kerr, of Wellington, mechanical engineer, as a member of the Board.

The appointment is for a term of 2 years from the 31 March 1978.

Acting Nominated Member of the Arbitration Court Appointed

PURSUANT to section 42 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973 (as substituted by section 3 of the Industrial Relations Amendment Act 1977), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice of the Minister of Labour, has been pleased to appoint James Alexander Boomer, of Wellington, Trade Union Secretary, to be, in respect of each nominated member of the Arbitration Court appointed under section 33 (1) (d) of the Industrial Relations Act 1973 (as substituted by the said section 3), an acting nominated member of the Arbitration Court (in which capacity the said James Alexander Boomer shall, in accordance with section 43 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973 (as substituted by the said section 3), hold office for a term of 5 years from the 17th day of April 1978).

Nominated Member of the Arbitration Court Appointed

PURSUANT to sections 33 (1) (c) and 41 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973 (as substituted by section 3 of the Industrial Relations Amendment Act 1977), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice of the Minister of Labour, has been pleased to appoint Philip Laurence Oldham, of Wellington, Deputy Executive Director of the New Zealand Employers' Federation, to be a nominated member of the Arbitration Court (in which capacity he shall, in accordance with section 43 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973 (as substituted by the said section 3), hold office for a term of 5 years from the 17th day of April 1978).
