The Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 1, 1978
Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 1, 1978.
- The National Roads Board's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.
- It is hereby declared, as required by the National Roads Board, that the State highways as set out in the Schedule hereto shall belong to the class set out in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE
NATIONAL ROADS BOARD—ROADS CLASSIFIED IN CLASS ONE
No. 80 State Highway (Pukaki-Hermitage).
No. 82 State Highway (Deep Creek-Kurow): from the beginning of the said State highway at Deep Creek to the north-eastern boundary of Waimate Borough.

Notice Amending the Taieri and Waikouaiti Branding Registration Districts (Notice No. 1915 Ag. 6/8/2/2)
Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 70 of the Animals Act 1967, and to a delegation from the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries, under section 10 of the Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the said section, the descriptions of the Taieri and Waikouaiti Branding Registration Districts as published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 34, of 17 June 1976, p. 988, are hereby revoked and the descriptions set out in the Schedules hereto are substituted.
FIRST SCHEDULE
TAIERI BRANDING REGISTRATION DISTRICT
All that area comprising the County of Peninsula, the city of Dunedin, and the following ridings of the Silverpeaks County: Outram, Strath Taieri, and Deep Stream as published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 76, of 7 October 1893, p. 145, Maungatua as published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 24, of 23 April 1969, p. 790, and Kaikorai and Otakia as published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 4, of 26 January 1978, p. 156, and including all boroughs and town districts in and adjacent to that area.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WAIKOUAITI BRANDING REGISTRATION DISTRICT
All that area comprising the County of Wahemo and the following ridings of the Silverpeaks County: Merton and Blueskin as published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 44, of 18 July 1968, p. 1207, and Hawksbury as published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 4, of 26 January 1978, p. 156, and including all boroughs and town districts in and adjacent to that area.

Notice Declaring a Quarantine Ground at Trentham (No. 1914 Ag. 6/4/7/2)
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 11 of the Animals Act 1967, the land and premises of Wrightson N.M.A. Ltd., and Pyne Gould Guinness Ltd., sale grounds, situated at the northern end of Racecourse Road, Trentham, comprising approximately 1 hectare and known as "J and K Block", is hereby declared to be a quarantine ground for the detention of imported horses from 31 March 1978 to 10 September 1978.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Hawke's Bay Licensing Committee
Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hawke's Bay Licensing Committee, on 10 March 1978, made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Stortford Lodge Hotel, Hastings.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public the hours for the opening and closing of the premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Saturday opening at 10 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

Pursuant to section 34B (10) of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949, as amended by section 14 of the Licensing Trust Amendment Act 1970, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Invercargill Licensing Trust applied for orders, which were granted in the Magistrate's Court at Invercargill on 14 March 1978, authorised variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Ascot Park Hotel/Motel, Invercargill.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Day) and Christmas Eve opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.
(c) On every New Year's Eve opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 0.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day.

Boundaries of Rodney County Defined
Pursuant to section 16 of the Counties Act 1956, and section 3 of the Minister of Local Government Act 1972, the Deputy Secretary for Internal Affairs for the Secretary for Local Government hereby redefines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of Rodney County following the union of Rodney County and Warkworth Independent Town District by Order in Council, made on 20 December 1977 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 129, page 2926, dated 22 December 1976.
SCHEDULE
All that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 2334 square kilometres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing in Block 1, Waitakere Survey District, at the junction of the middle of the Waitakere River with the sea coast of the Tasman Sea and proceeding north-westerly along that sea coast to the South Head of the Kaipara Harbour, thence easterly and northerly generally along the southern and eastern shores of the Kaipara Harbour and its creeks to and north-easterly generally along the left bank of the Oruawharo River and its creeks to and along the left bank of the Topuni River to the middle of the first tributary northwards from the end of Ross Road; thence easterly up the middle of that tributary to its intersection with the middle of the North Auckland Railway as shown on S.O. Plan 16358, in Block VII, Otamatea Survey District; thence south-easterly along the middle of that railway to a point in line with the middle of Ross Road; thence
