National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a
Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution
dated 15 March 1978, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public
Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of
State Highway 1 (Awamui-Bluff), from its junction with
Centennial Park Road, Wellsford, to its point of intersection
with the western boundary of part N.W. Portion, Allotment
8, Block I, Mahurangi S.D. (near Falls Bridge), as more
particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan I.A. 10/20/1,
and accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident
Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Auckland
North, and there available for public inspection, to be a
limited access road.

Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato
Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1900 Ag. 61422)

Pursuant to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode
Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following
lands are declared to be infected area:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been
found—
(i) An area of 87 acres and 5 perches, more or
less, situated north-east of, and adjoining Allanton
Road, and bounded to the east by the Taieri River,
being Lot 1, D.P. 10730, and being River Section
24, and part River Sections 22 and 23, West Taieri
District, C.T. 1C/830 (Otago Registry).

*This land was previously gazetted (b) (i) in Notice No.
1348 dated 5 February 1976. This notice should be read
together with notice No. 1348.

Pursuant to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode
Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following
lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been
found—
(i) An area of 7082 square metres, more or less,
situated south-east of, and adjoining Holyhead Street
and Bidston Street at their junction and bounded to
the south by Skerries Street in the Town District of
Outram, being Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 20, Block
III, Town of Outram. C.T. 411/249 (Otago Registry).
(ii) An area of 7082 square metres, more or less,
situated south-east of, and adjoining Holyhead Street,
and bounded to the south by Skerries Street, being
Sections 5, 6, 9, and 13-16, Block III, Town of
Outram. C.T. 314/79 (Otago Registry).
(iii) An area of 2023 square metres, more or less,
situated north-west of, and adjoining Skerries Street,
being Sections 21 and 22, Block III, Town of Out-
ram. C.T. 131/872 (Otago Registry).
(iv) area of 1012 square metres, more or less,
situated north-west of, and adjoining Skerries Street,
being Section 17, Block III, Town of Outram. C.T.

Pork Marketing Board—Basic Minimum Price for Pigs
Notice No. 7, 1978

Pursuant to regulation 13 of the Pork Marketing Board Regula-
tions 1973, and regulation 5 of the Pork Marketing Board Regula-
tions 1976, Amendment No. 2, the Pork Marketing Board hereby
gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Basic Minimum Price for Pigs
    Notice No. 7, 1978.
  2. This notice shall be operable from the 3rd day of April 1978.
  3. This notice fixes the basic minimum prices for pigs, as specified
    in the following Schedule, delivered to export pig slaughterhouses.

SCHEDULE

45.5 kg/70 kg Weight Range

(a) North Island:
Prime grade .. 111 cents per kilogram hot carcass weight.
Choice grade .. 101 cents per kilogram hot carcass weight.
Standard grade .. 82 cents per kilogram hot carcass weight.
Mutilated grade .. 77 cents per kilogram hot carcass weight.

(b) South Island—(Belfast Works):
Prime grade .. 105 cents per kilogram hot carcass weight.
Choice grade .. 95 cents per kilogram hot carcass weight.
Standard grade .. 76 cents per kilogram hot carcass weight.
Mutilated grade .. 71 cents per kilogram hot carcass weight.

(c) South Island—(Makarewa Works):
Prime grade .. 102 cents per kilogram hot carcass weight.
