Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XVI, Cloudy Bay
Survey District, Borough of Blenheim, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the pro-
visions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the
land described in the Schedule hereto such land to be used
for the widening of Grove Road, Blenheim which is part of
State Highway No. 1. And notice is hereby further given
that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited
in the post office at Blenheim and is there open for inspection;
that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said
land, should, if they have any objection to the taking of the
said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment
of compensation, make a written objection and send it within
40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town
and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that,
if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a
public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed and Vested and
Land Taken and Vested in Block III, Tokatoka Survey
District, Hobson County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors,
and Inhabitants of the County of Hobson and also proclaims
that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is
hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in Desmond
James Berghan of Okahu, farmer, and Florence Alicia
Berghan, his wife, subject to memorandum of mortgage No.
A512848, North Auckland Land Registry, and also proclaims
that the land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section
29, and that the land firstly described in the Third Schedule
hereto shall, when so taken, vest in Keith Charles Gant of
Okahu, farmer, Harvey Allan Manuel of Mangere, retailer,
and Brian Gillespie Moyle of Whangarei, chartered accountant,
subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 486133, 2019281 and
1956862, and that the land secondly described in the Third
Schedule hereto shall, when so taken, vest in the said
Desmond James Berghan and Florence Alicia Berghan,
subject to memorandum of mortgage No. A. 512848, North
Auckland Land Registry.

a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
