Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1875 Ag. 61422)

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:

(i) An area of 3 acres, more or less, situated North of and adjoining Kitchener Road, Pukekohe, being part of Lot 1, D.P. 6611, part Allotments 59 and 60, Subsection 2, Parish of Pukekohe. C.T. 203/8 (Auckland Registry).

(ii) An area of 2 acres 1 rood 33.7 perches, more or less, situated North of and adjoining Kitchener Road and Greenlane, Pukekohe, being part of Lot 1, D.P. 6611, part Allotment 60, Subsection 2, Parish of Pukekohe. C.T. 203/282 (Auckland Registry).

(b) Other land within a radius of 80 kilometres of the land described in paragraph (a) above being:

(i) An area of 4 acres 2 roods 8.3 perches, more or less, situated East of and adjoining Greenlane, Pukekohe, being part of Lot 1, D.P. 6611, part Allotments 59 and 69, Subsection 2, Parish of Pukekohe. C.T. 195/284 (Auckland Registry).

(ii) An area of 5 acres 2 roods 16.9 perches more or less situated South West of and adjoining Attewell Road and Dazeley Road, Pukekohe being part of Lot 1 D.P. 8610, Parish of Puni. C.T. 1079/176 (Auckland Registry).

(i) An area of 9 acres 1 rood 20.6 perches, more or less, situated North of and adjoining Paparata Road and east of the junction with Barber Road, Bombay, being part Allotment 5, Parish of Opaheke. C.T. 11D/1336 (Auckland Registry).

This land was previously gazetted (b) (ii) in notice No. 976, of 5 November 1974.

The Motor Launch (Lake Manapouri) Notice 1978 Fiordland National Park Board

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, I Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby give the following notice:

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Lake Manapouri) Notice 1978.

   (b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.

2. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations in the First Schedule hereof.

3. Notice is hereby given that the Motor Launch (Lake Manapouri) Notice 1973** is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

1. All that area of water in Lake Manapouri within 200 metres of the edge of the water and bounded by parallel lines 155 metres apart, the southern boundary line being extended in a 310° true direction from a point on the shoreline of normal lake level being 111 metres northward of the northern side of the Doubtful Sound Tourist Co. Ltd. slipway, as shown on plan M.D. 15892.

2. All that area of water in Surprise Bay, Lake Manapouri, within 200 metres of the edge of the water and bounded on the sides by parallel lines 128 metres apart, the northern boundary line being extended in a 110° true direction, as shown on plan M.D. 15892.

SECOND SCHEDULE

1. Two 2.5 metre transit posts with a distance of not less than 3 metres or more than 6 metres between and painted with 300 millimetre bright orange and black bands, shall be erected on land in line with each side of the access lane, the first post being sited at normal lake level.
