Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for road purposes over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be leased or sold by the Levin Borough Council on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such leasing or sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Wellington, or his deputy to be chairman, and John Takako Piri Asher, William Te Rangihouhiri Asher, Keith Leslie Barnett, Robin H. Kimpton, Frederick John Linstrom, Kerry Owen Scott, John Oliver Sheridan, and John Henry Thorby to be the Tokaanu Thermal Park Board to have control of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act as a reserve for recreation purposes.

Declaration That the Tokaanu Memorial Park Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve Subject to Part II of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 to be Known as the Tokaanu Thermal Park

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Tokaanu Memorial Park Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, to be known as the Tokaanu Thermal Park.
