Revoking the Licence Authorising John Chambers to Occupy a Site for a Mooring and Breakwater at Tuparoa, Ruatoria
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that the licence of 20 September 1977*, authorising John Chambers to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Tuparoa, Ruatoria, as a site for a mooring and breakwater is hereby revoked.

Meat Industry Authority (Notice No. 14, MIA 3(3)—Specifying the Oamaru Abattoir Company Limited as the Controlling Authority of the Oamaru Abattoir, vice the Oamaru Borough Council, and Restating the Boundary of the Oamaru Abattoir District.
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Meat Act 1964, (as amended by section 12 of the Meat Amendment Act 1976), notice is hereby given as follows:

The Oamaru Abattoir Company Limited shall be the controlling authority of the Oamaru abattoir, vice the Oamaru Borough Council.

The Oamaru Abattoir District shall continue to comprise the district of the Borough of Oamaru, as from time to time constituted.

This notice shall take effect as from 1 January 1979.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws
PURSUANT to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Alexander King Ewing, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Ministry of Transport, hereby approve the Thames-Coromandel District Council Bylaw No. 6, Bathing and Control, passed and adopted at a meeting of the Thames-Coromandel District Council held on 23 November 1978.

Classification of Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto to be classified as a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Rotorua City) Notice No. 1, 1978.

The Rotorua City Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

The notice dated the 14th day of December 1970†, which relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.

Approval of Safety Glass and Conditions Relating Thereto
PURSUANT to regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves, for the purpose of regulation 73 of the said regulations, safety glass of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto: Provided that, where any overlay or treatment which reflects light from an outside source has been applied to any approved safety glass other than along the top edge of the windscreen for the purpose of reducing sun glare, this approval will not apply. This proviso does not apply to the fitting of rear window electrically heated demister units.
NOTE—As this notice approves safety glass for general use in motor vehicles, any previous notice in the New Zealand Gazette which related to approval of safety glass for use in windscreens, is hereby revoked.
