Appointment of the Whakatane District Council to Control and Manage a Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Reserves of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby appoints the Whakatane District Council to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for recreation purposes.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—WHAKATANE DISTRICT
809 square metres, more or less, being Lot 12, D.P. 15785, being Part Allotment 124, Matata Parish. All New Zealand Gazette, 1953, p. 1582.
27.1691 hectares, more or less, being Allotment 115, Matata Parish. All New Zealand Gazette, 1930, p. 2134. (S.O. 25188).
4.0468 hectares, more or less, being Section 5. All New Zealand Gazette, 1934, p. 2032. (S.O. 27408).
All situated in Block X, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District.

Vesting a Reserve in the Takapuna City Council
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Reserves of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby vests the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, in the Takapuna City Council in trust for recreation purposes.

1061 square metres, more or less, being Allotments 70, 71, 72 and 73, of Section 1, Takapuna Parish, situated in Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District. S.O. Plan 47428.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licenced Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 17 November 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Duke of Wellington Tavern, at Mount Wellington.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve) and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening but during the period from 10 o'clock in the evening to 11 o'clock in the evening the said premises shall not be open in respect of that part of the premises known as the “public bar”.
(c) On New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day, but during the period from 10 o'clock in the evening of New Year's Eve to 00.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day the said premises shall not be open in respect of the part of the premises known as the “public bar”, and the committee grants an exemption for the purpose of section 187 of the said Act in respect of the period from 10 o'clock in the evening of any Friday, Saturday, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve until the premises are required to be closed in accordance with this order.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 17 November 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club premises known as the Grey Lynn Returned Servicemens Social Club Incorporated, at Grey Lynn, Auckland.
To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve) and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.
(c) On New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 12 o'clock midnight.
