An intake and pipeline leading to a generator giving a static head of 100 m and all necessary equipment for generating electricity, situated in Sections 28 and 64, Block X, Waka-marina S.D.

As shown on the plans marked N.Z.E. 979 and 979/1, deposited in the office of the Electricity Division, Ministry of Energy, at Wellington.

Fixing the Rate of Kiwifruit Levy
(Notice No. 2049, Ag. 12/14/12/3)

PURSUANT to Regulation 18 of the Kiwifruit Marketing Licensing Regulations 1977, as I have received a recommendation from the Kiwifruit Marketing Licensing Authority, I hereby give notice that:

Price Order No. 108 (Steel Products Manufactured by Pacific Steel Ltd.)

PURSUANT to the Commerce Act 1975, I, Peter Edward Donovan, pursuant to a delegation from the Secretary of Trade and Industry, hereby make the following price order:

PRELIMINARY

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 108 and shall come into force on the 1st day of December 1978.

  2. (1) Price Order No. 104* is hereby revoked.
    (2) The revocation of the said order shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this order.

  3. In this order:
    The expression "f.o.r." means "free on rail", and the expression "c and f" means "cost and freight".

APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER

  1. This order applies to the following steel products manufactured by Pacific Steel Ltd.:

Rolled and Rerolled Steel Bars

  1. Rounds
  2. Squares
  3. Flats
  4. Angles
  5. Channels

MAXIMUM PRICES TO BE CHARGED

  1. (1) The maximum factory selling prices that may be charged or received by Pacific Steel Ltd. for any steel products to which this order applies shall be the basis price shown in this order, with adjustments in the form of extras as specified hereunder being made as appropriate.
    (2) The maximum prices, as aforesaid, are fixed for deliveries as follows:
    (a) Within a radius of 40 kilometres of Otahuhu, free on truck at mill.
    (b) "f.o.r." Whangarei, Hamilton, Rotorua, Tauranga, Gisborne, Napier, Hastings, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Masterton, Lower Hutt, Wellington Blenheim, Christchurch, and Invercargill.
    (c) Landed on wharf or at railhead at Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru, Nelson, Greymouth, Dunedin, and Bluff.
    (d) For sales to other areas, the approved maximum selling prices may be surcharged with the amount which does not exceed the actual freight incurred for transport of steel from the nearest freight paid point mentioned above.
    (3) The maximum basis price shall be $436.50 per tonne; and shall apply to mild steel concrete reinforcing bars made in conformity with New Zealand Standard 3402 P: 1973, angles, channels, flats, squares, and rounds other than reinforcing made in conformity with British Standard 4360: Grades 43A, 43A. 1.

(a) The rate of kiwifruit levy for the year ended March 31 1980 shall be 27 cents in respect of each tray of kiwifruit exported;
(b) The full amount of the levy shall be due and payable to the authority by the exporter when the tray is exported, but the exporter may recover from the producer an amount not exceeding 16 cents per tray.

Fixing the Rate of Hive Levy (No. 2051, Ag. 12/2/28)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Hive Levy Act 1978, as I have received the joint recommendations of the National Beekeepers Association and the New Zealand Honey Marketing Authority, I hereby give notice that the rate of hive levy for 1979 shall be 17.5 cents per hive.

(4) The basis price shall cover the following sizes:
Rounds 20 mm diameter and over
Squares 12 mm to 75 mm
Flats } All shapes and sizes not included in 6 (1)
Angles } below.

(N.B. The company is not making basis size channels—203 mm × 76 mm × 24 kg/m and over.)

(5) The basis price shall cover lengths from 5 m to 10 m.

(6) The basis price shall cover the following quantities:
Rounds, 4 tonnes and over
Squares, 4 tonnes and over } In one size and thickness or
Flats, 4 tonnes and over } diameter and in one quality
Angles, 4 tonnes and over

(7) The basis price shall cover the cold straightening of angles.
