Declaring Land in a Roadway Laid Out in the City of Rotorua, to be Street

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in the roadways laid out by the Maori Land Court by orders made on the 26th day of March 1954, to be street, and to be vested in the Rotorua City Council.

All those pieces of land described as follows:

Land Held for Housing Purposes Set Apart for Industrial Purposes in the City of Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION

Whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken for housing purposes and vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch by Declarations dated the 30th day of January 1975, 30th day of January 1975, 13th day of February 1975, 14th day of July 1975, and published in Gazettes No. 6, p. 138, No. 6, p. 138, No. 9, p. 227, No. 65, p. 1727, respectively, registered in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as 26587/1, 27121/1, 32656/1, 46068/1, respectively.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the said land is hereby set apart, as from the 16th day of November 1978, for industrial purposes.

Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, and section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as limited access road the railway land described in the Schedule hereto.

All those pieces of land situated in Block I, Teviotdale Survey District, described as follows:

Amending the Marlborough Sounds and Coastal Foreshore Control Order 1973

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 3rd day of November 1978

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency, the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Marlborough Sounds and Coastal Control Order 1973* by deleting the First Schedule and substituting the following:

FIRST SCHEDULE

  1. All that area of foreshore within right lines drawn from Pukerau Point in Tasman Bay to Cape Soucis, and from Cape Soucis to Channel Point, thence to Collinet Point, thence to Clay Point, thence to Culdaff Point, thence to Alligator Head, thence to Cape Lambert, thence to Cape Jackson, thence to Cape Koamaru excepting thereout the foreshore of Maud Island.

  2. All that area of foreshore extending from the East Head of Tory Channel to West Head of Tory Channel thence within right lines drawn from West Head of Tory Channel to Cape Campbell thence generally westerly, southerly, easterly, westerly, round the Kaikoura Peninsula, thence generally southerly to the easternmost point of the northern bank of the Conway River excepting thereout the foreshore at Chancet Rocks as lies within Section 20, Block VII, Cape Campbell Survey District, as more particularly shown on Plan S.O. 5508.

  3. All the foreshore of D'Urville Island.

  4. All the foreshore of Arapawa Island in Cook Strait.

Mohamed Yusof bin Hitam presented his Letter of Credence as High Commissioner for Malaysia to New Zealand at Government House on Wednesday, 25 October 1978.
