Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. During the period 19 June 1978 to 29 October 1978 inclusive, and midnight 2 February 1979 to 25 March 1979 at midnight inclusive, Canada goose may be shot 24 hours per day.

Decoy limit: No limit.

Station U in Block VII, Takitimu S.D., to the intersection with the right bank of the Waiau River; thence north-westerly generally along the said bank to a point due south of the Manapouri Accommodation House; thence due north to the said accommodation house; thence along Accommodation House Road to its junction with the main Manapouri-Te Anau Road; thence northerly generally along the middle of that road to its junction with State Highway No. 94; thence north-easterly along the middle of that highway to the western boundary of Run 301B; thence generally northerly along the generally western boundaries of that run to the middle of State Highway No. 94, and along the southern, eastern, and northern boundaries of that section to the intersection with the middle of State Highway No. 94; thence generally north-easterly along the middle of that highway to a point a ½ mile north of the main Retford Stream; thence south-easterly along a right line to the intersection of the Retford Stream and the block boundary between Blocks I and II, Eglinton S.D.; thence south-westerly in the direction of Hill 1830 in Block VIII, Te Anau S.D., to the watershed between Henry Creek and the Upukerora River; thence generally north-easterly along that watershed and the summit of the Dunton Range and the Livingstone Mountains passing through Hill 4834 and 4893, in Block IX, Snowdon S.D., Winton Peak, Countess Peak, Moffat Peak, David Peaks, and along the summit of the range between Lake Fergus and Lake Howden to Key Summit in Block III, Greenstone S.D.; thence generally south-westerly along the summit of the ranges to Mount Anau in Clinton S.D.; thence southerly along the range passing through Skelmorlie Peak and Largs Peak to a point due north of Mount Eglinton; thence due south along a right line through Mount Eglinton to the middle of the Eglinton River; thence generally south-westerly down the middle of that river and the eastern shore of Lake Te Anau to the middle of the Waiau River; thence down the middle of that river and along the eastern shore of Lake Manapouri to the right bank of the Waiau River; thence along a right line in the direction of the Monowai River where it flows out of Lake Monowai to a point due west of Paddock Hill; thence due east to the summit of Paddock Hill, the point of commencement.

No. (4) Part of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding land (Queenstown, etc.). All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 4,400 acres, more or less, being part of the waters of Lake Wakatipu and land in the vicinity, commencing at Trig. Station 1 near Refuge Point in Block VII, Concburn S.D.; thence bounded towards the south-west by a line to the southern corner of Section 28, Block I, Mid-Wakatipu S.D.; thence towards the north-west generally by the said Section 28; thence by a line from the south-eastern corner of the aforesaid section of the southern corner of Section 73, Block XX, Shotover S.D.; thence towards the north-west generally by Sections 19, 22, 8 by the crossing of a road, by the said road, and by Section II, said Block XX; thence towards the east and north-east generally by Sections 75 and 32, said Block XX, to the southern side of Frankton Road; again towards the north-west by said road to the eastern boundary of the Town of Frankton; thence again towards the north-east generally by the eastern boundary of said town to the Kawerau River; thence across said river to the most northern corner of Block XII, Coneburn S.D.; thence by part of that block to a road; thence towards the south-east generally by said road to the most southern corner of Section 2, Block I, Coneburn S.D.; thence by a line to Trig. Station I, being the commencing point.

No. (4) All those waters of the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu and the Kawarau River described as follows: Commencing at a white post landmark at the tip of the Kelvin Peninsula; thence north-west to a further white post landmark at the tip of the Government Gardens; thence northerly and easterly along the water edge of the Frankton Arm to the Kawarau River; thence down the river on the northerly shore to another white post landmark; thence directly across the river to a third white post landmark on the southerly shore and following this shore back to the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu; thence along the easterly shore of this arm to the point of commencement.
