Meat Industry Authority (Notice No. 8—MIA 3/3/3):
Giving Notice that the District of the City of Nelson is an Inspected Meat Area

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of section 6 (1) of the Meat Act 1964 (as inserted by section 4 of the Meat Amendment Act 1976) that the Deed of Delegation, dated 26 October 1972, between the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Nelson and the Nelson Freezing Company Limited, whereby that company provided abattoir services to the Nelson Abattoir District (i.e., the City of Nelson) at its premises at Stoke, having expired on 31 August 1977, the Nelson Abattoir District was automatically abolished on 1 September 1977, and on 1 September 1977 the district of the City of Nelson automatically became an Inspected Meat Area.
