A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir
Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and
comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by
an order dated the 15th day of September 1970 to be road,
and to be vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants
of the County of Bay of Islands.

ALL those pieces of land, situated in Block XIV, Motatau
Survey District, described as follows:

Declaring Land Used As A Roadway in Block XII, Whangape

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 422 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir
Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and
used as a roadway, to be road, and to be vested in the Chair-
man, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hokianga.

Declaring Land in Taranaki Land District, Vested in the
South Auckland Education Board as a Site for a School, to
be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area
vested in the South Auckland Education Board as a site for a
school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and
discharged from every education trust affecting the same, but
subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affect-
ing the same at the date hereof.

Abolishing the Omarunui Drainage District

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 142 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers
Control Act 1941, and section 3 of the Land Drainage Act
1908, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
abolishes the Omarunui Drainage District as from the 31st
day of August 1977.

Exempting Certain Maori Land From Rates

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 5th day of
September 1977
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 149 of the Rating Act 1967, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby exempts the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto from
the liability for the payment of rates, and also hereby exempts
the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto
from the liability for the payment of all rates made and levied
by the Whakatane District Council which remain unpaid.

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XII, Ruatahuna Sur-
vey District, and described as follows:
