  1. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.*

  2. The Traffic Notice, dated the 17th day of March 1958†, under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Coromandel County, is hereby revoked.

Rings Road: from a point 100 metres measured north westerly generally along Rings Road from Main Street to a point 150 metres measured north westerly generally along Rings Road from Buffalo Road.

Wharf Road: from Hauraki Road to a point 640 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from Hauraki Road.

The Traffic (Rodney County) Notice No. 2, 1977

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rodney County) Notice No. 2, 1977.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.*

  4. The Traffic Notice, dated the 9th day of September 1955†, under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, which relates to roads situated within Rodney County at Warkworth, is hereby revoked.

  5. The Traffic (Warkworth Town District) Notice No. 1, 1976, dated the 18th day of August 1976‡ under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to a road situated within Warkworth Town District, is hereby revoked.
