Proclaiming an Area in the City of Christchurch to be a Reclamation Area under Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 19 of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim the land defined in the Schedule hereto to be a Reclamation Area under Part II of the said Act; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 19th day of August 1977.

SCHEDULE

All that area of land situated within the City of Christchurch, being the properties at No. 40, 42, 44 and 48 Bangor Street, being more particularly the land described below, containing a total area of two thousand and ninety-nine square metres (2099 m²) or thereabouts, being the whole of Lot 7 and part Lot 8, D.P. 432, part Town Reserve 31, and Lot 10, D.P. 281, part Town Reserve 29, and being all the land described in certificates of title (Canterbury Registry) Volume 74, folio 211; Volume 74, folio 218; Volume 9B, folio 1433; Volume 114, folio 206.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand this 19th day of August 1977.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of September 1977.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All those pieces of land, situated in Block II, Waoku Survey District, described as follows:

Being Parts Omanaia 6 Block; coloured yellow on plan. Part Horotiu B7A2 Block; coloured sepia on plan.

As shown on plan S.O. 46806, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon coloured as above-mentioned.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Christchurch Northern Motorway.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

All those pieces of land, situated in Block III, Christchurch Survey District, described as follows:

Area

Being Part Rural Section 538; coloured sepia on plan. Part Rural Section 534; coloured sepia edged sepia on plan.

As shown on plan M.O.W. 26067 (S.O. 11682), lodged in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
