A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Thames-Coromandel District as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect, on and after the 25th day of August 1977.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land, situated in Block X, Otama Survey District, described as follows:

  1. (a) This order may be cited as the Opotiki Borough Council Foreshore Control Order 1973, Revocation Order 1977.
    (b) *The Opotiki Borough Council Foreshore Control Order 1973 is hereby revoked.

Authorising the Auckland Regional Authority to Reclaim Land from the Manukau Harbour

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 175(2) and subject to sections 176 to 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Regional Authority to reclaim from the bed of the Manukau Harbour an area of 527 square metres, more or less, of endowment land as shown edged red on plan M.D. 15861 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Authorising Otago Harbour Board to Reclaim Endowment Land at Macandrew Bay, Otago Peninsula

PURSUANT to section 175(3) and subject to sections 176 to 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Otago Harbour Board to reclaim from the foreshore and bed of the sea at Macandrew Bay, Otago Peninsula, an area of 4,500 square metres, more or less, of endowment land, as shown on plan M.D. 15863, deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Colonel Howard Leighton Jones is posted to the Retired List with effect from 3 September 1977.

ROYAL REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY

Captain John Lindsay Burns is posted to the Retired List with effect from 30 July 1977.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) and Quartermaster J. E. Fitzgerald to be Captain and Quartermaster with effect from 13 July 1977.

Supernumerary List

Major and Quartermaster David Ralph Hughes is transferred to the Royal N.Z. Army Ordnance Corps and is posted to the Retired List with effect from 2 May 1977.

ROYAL N.Z. ARMOURED CORPS

Major G. T. Bowes to be temp. Lieutenant Colonel with effect from 12 July 1977.
