MOSGIEL BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER ALTERING THE NUMBER OF
COUNCILLORS

RESOLVED that the following resolution carried at a special
meeting of the Mosgiel Borough Council held on the 18th
day of July 1977 be and the same is hereby confirmed.

Resolved that in pursuance and exercise of the powers
vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations
Act 1954, the Mosgiel Borough Council hereby resolves to
operate as a special order, that the number of councillors
be altered from eight (8), exclusive of the Mayor, to nine (9),
exclusive of the Mayor. Resolved further that the common
seal of the body corporate known as the Mayor, councillors,
and citizens of the Borough of Mosgiel be affixed unto the
above written special order in the presence of His Worship
the Mayor, Councillors, L. E. Laing, J. J. G. Morshuis, and
the Town Clerk.

In witness whereof the common seal of the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Mosgiel was
hereto affixed this 11th day of August 1977 in the presence

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE PURPOSE OF LAND HELD BY
THE COUNCIL

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of
section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, that
the Christchurch City Council proposes to change the purpose
for which it holds the land, described in the schedule hereto,
from its present designation of a yard for corporation
purposes to its proposed designation for housing purposes;
and notice is hereby further given that any person objecting
to the proposal to change the purpose for which the land is
so held, is required to lodge his objection in writing at the
offices of the Christchurch City Council, Municipal Office
Building, 194 Manchester Street, P.O. Box 237, Christchurch,
not later than 40 days from the date of the publication of this
notice.
