State Forest Land Set Apart as a Recreation Area—the Taringatura Recreation Area Notice 1977
PURSUANT to section 63A of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976) the Minister of Forests hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a recreation area for the purpose of public recreation.

SOUTHLAND COUNTY
SECTION 495, Block XXXIII, Taringatura Survey District: area, 1388.8811 hectares, more or less (S.O. Plan 8023).
As shown on plan S168/7, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.
NOTES:
- Fires to be lit only in fireplaces provided.
- Vehicles, including trail bikes, are permitted only on formed roads.
- Permits are required for all firearms taken into the forest.

Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand: Designation of Administrative Local Authority for Community Arts Council
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, I hereby designate the Pukekohe Borough Council to be the administrative local authority in respect of the Franklin-Papakura Community Arts Council.

The Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice No. 4, 1977
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice No. 4, 1977.
- The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice No. 2, 1976, dated the 3rd day of December 1976*, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Tauranga County at Katikati, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Tauranga County at Katikati:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno–Wellington via Gisborne) from a point 320 metres measured northerly generally along the said State Highway from Hyde Street to Marshalls Road.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2a) 1977
PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2a) 1977.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the 17th day of August 1977. - Goods of the classes specified in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirements of a licence under the said regulations.

Goods of such classes or kinds as may be approved by the Minister of Customs and subject to such conditions as he may prescribe, being goods temporarily imported under the terms of the Customs Convention Concerning Facilities for the Importation of Goods for Display or use at Exhibitions, Fairs, Meetings, or Similar Events approved by the Minister of Customs and admissible under Part II Ref. 37.0 of the Customs Tariff.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This notice gives effect to the Government decision to become a contracting party to these two Customs Conventions.
