National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 July 1977, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Waihola to Milburn section, for one half of its width across the frontage of section 15, Block 1, of the Town of Waihola, as more particularly shown on plan LA 70/17/40 and accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Dunedin, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 July 1977 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway 2, (Pokeno-Wellington) from its junction with Dimmock Road to the Waikato-Hauraki Plains county boundary near Steens Road, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of Plan LA 10/33/2 and accompanying schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, South Auckland, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway 1, Waihola to Milburn section, as more particularly shown on plan MOW 35975 and accompanying schedule held at the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Dunedin, and there available for public inspection:

It is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 20 July 1977, and pursuant to subsection (5) of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution of 2 May 1974*, made pursuant to the said section 4, insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration of the said State Highway for one half of its width on the western side commencing at the junction point of the southern boundary of Section 1, Block 1, of the Town of Waihola with the road reserve boundary and extending southwards for 21.08 metres along the said road boundary.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 July 1977, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway 3, Palmerston North, to Stoney Creek section, for half its width on the southern side across the frontages of Lots 1 and 2 of D.P. 45231, (C.T. 17B/1250 and C.T. 17B/1251) as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan LA 44/46/3 and accompanying schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Palmerston North, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Local Authorities Loans Act 1956: Rates of Interest

PURSUANT to section 9 (4A) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, (as inserted by section 4 (3) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), notice is hereby given that the Local Authorities Loans Board, acting with the approval of the Minister of Finance, has determined as follows:

  1. This general determination shall apply to all money, which any local authority has received the sanction of the board, given before the date of this notice, to borrow by way of special loan, other than money borrowed before the 28th day of July 1977.

  2. The rate or rates of interest, that may be paid by any local authority in respect of any such money borrowed by it, shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate or rates of interest exceeding the following rates:

(a) For money borrowed for a period of 1 year 9.5 percent per annum;

(b) For money borrowed for a period of 2 years 10 percent per annum;
