Mosston Road: from a point 50 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said road from Lee Street to the north-western boundary of Wanganui City.

The Darfield High School Board of Governors Notice 1977

PURSUANT to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Darfield High School Board of Governors Notice 1977.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1977.

  2. The constitution of the Darfield High School Board of Governors is hereby varied so that the Board shall consist of:
    (a) One member appointed by the Canterbury Education Board;
    (b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
    (c) One member appointed by the Malvern County Council;
    (d) One member appointed by the executive of the Darfield High School Old Pupils Association;
    (e) One member appointed by the Council of the University of Canterbury;
    (f) Five members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school; and
    (g) One member appointed by the school committees of the Darfield State primary school, the Glenroy State primary school, the Greendale State primary school, the Halkett Model State primary school, the Homebush State primary school, the Hororata State primary school, the Kirwee State primary school, the Sheffield State primary school, and the Windwhistle State primary school.

  3. This notice is in substitution for the Darfield High School Board of Governors Order 1963*.

Katikati College Board of Governors Notice 1977

PURSUANT to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Katikati College Board of Governors Notice 1977.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the first day of August 1977.

  2. The constitution of the Katikati College Board of Governors shall be as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
    (b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
    (c) Six members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;
    (d) One member appointed by the Te Tereatukahia Tribal Committee;
    (e) One member appointed by the members of the school committee of the Katikati State primary school; and
    (f) One member co-opted by the board itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  3. The South Auckland Education Board shall cease to control Katikati College and the sole control of that school shall be vested in the board of governors constituted by clause 2 of this notice.

Amending Notice to the Open Season for Game in the North Canterbury Acclimatisation District

THE Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 31, of 17 March 1977, at page 640, relating to the open season for game in certain acclimatisation districts is amended as follows:

In that portion of the First Schedule that relates to the North Canterbury Acclimatisation District:

By deleting the following closed game areas:

No. (2) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, situated in Mytholm, Lake Sumner, Marion, Saddle, Minchin, Katrine, and Noble Survey Districts, known as the Lakes Station, and bounded as follows: commencing at the junction of the north branch of the Hurunui River and the Sisters Stream; thence by the left bank of the aforesaid north branch of the Hurunui River in a north-westerly direction to Lake Sumner; thence by a right line in a northerly direction to the summit of Mount Longfellow; thence by a right line in a north-westerly direction to the most northern point of Lake Marion; thence by a line parallel to and 1 mile on the north side of Lake Sumner and the Hurunui River to the summit of the Southern Alps; thence south along the aforesaid Southern Alps to a point 1 mile on the south side of the Hurunui River, Lake Sumner, the canal, Loch Katrine, the Dray Road, Lake Taylor, to a point 1 mile due south of Trig. Station T in Noble S.D.; thence from the last-named point in an easterly direction to Dog Hill; thence by a right line to the point of commencement; save and excepting from the above-described area Rural Section 33978, Lake Sheppard, and a strip of land 11 chains wide surrounding the said Lake Sheppard.

No. (14) Lake Constance, namely, all that area in the Canterbury Land District, Selwyn County, containing 50 acres, more or less, being Rural Section 5934, and being part Lot 1, Deposited Plan No. 3317; situated in Block VII, Fighting Hill S.D., and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.
