Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Northland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Northland Licensing Committee on 22 December 1976, made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below:

Hukerenui Tavern, Hukerenui.
Three Furlongs Hotel, Kaiwaka.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Northland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Northland Licensing Committee on 22 December 1976, made an order authorising a variation of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Kaitaia Hotel at Kaitaia:

(a) On every Friday, Saturday, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 in the morning, and the hour of closing shall be 11 in the evening.

(b) On every other day (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public), the hour of opening shall be 11 in the morning, and the hour of closing shall be 10 in the evening.

Exemption from Equipment Requirements

PURSUANT to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby exempts any trailer towed by a motor car from the requirements of subclause 3 (a) of regulation 59 of the said regulations.

Exemption from Equipment Requirements

PURSUANT to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby exempts any trailer, first registered before the 1st day of January 1978, from the requirements of subclause 5 of regulation 73 of the said regulations.

Approved Short-Term Money Market Dealers

NOTICE is hereby given by the Reserve Bank that it has withdrawn lender of last resort facilities to Short Term Deposits Limited. This means that Short Term Deposits Limited will no longer be an “approved” short-term money market dealer after 26 January 1977 and deposits placed with Short Term Deposits Limited after that date will not be “authorised” investments in terms of section 4 (1) (ii) of the Trustee Act 1956.

“Approved dealers” with lender of last resort facilities at the Reserve Bank are now:

AMP Discount Corporation (N.Z.) Limited.
APA Discount Corporation Limited.
New Zealand Short Term Investments Limited.
Delfin Discount Company (N.Z.) Limited.
