BOUNDARIES OF AKITIO RIDING OF COUNTY OF DANNEVIRKE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing in the middle of the mouth of the Waimata Stream and proceeding south-westerly along the sea coast to the middle of the Mataikona River; thence up the middle of that river and the Pakowhai River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 27, Block XVI, Puketoi Survey District; thence westerly along the generally northern boundaries of Sections 27, 28, 27, 29, 27, 9, 18, 9, 19, and 9, to the south-western corner of Section 19, Block XII, Puketoi Survey District; thence generally northerly along the western boundaries of the said Section 19 and Section 221, Akitio District (including right lines across roads), the southern and western boundaries of Section 16, Block XII, Puketoi Survey District (including a right line across a road), and the western boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, Puketoi Survey District, and its production to the northern side of Waihoki Road; thence easterly along that side to the south-western corner of Section 4, the southern boundary of Section 28, and the southern and western boundaries of Section 29, Block V, Owahanga Survey District, the south-western boundary of Section 7, Block VIII, Puketoi Survey District, and its production to the north-western side of No. 52 State Highway, along that side to and along the south-western boundary of Section 28, Block VI, Puketoi Survey District, the southern boundaries of Sections 29 and 7 and the south-western boundaries of Sections 6, 5, 4, and 3, Block IV, Puketoi Survey District, the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the western side of Hutiwai Road, the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 10, 9, and 23, Block III, Puketoi Survey District, to the northernmost corner of the said Section 23, and along the watershed defined by traverse lines on S.O. Plan 13610 to Peg VIII shown on the said plan on the summit of the Puketoi Range; thence north-easterly along the summit of the Puketoi Range and the eastern boundaries of Section 43, Block XII, Mount Cerberus Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 43; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Section 45, Block XII, Mount Cerberus Survey District to Trig Station R (Wahatuara); thence south-easterly along the common boundary between the Wellington and Hawke’s Bay Land Districts, being right lines through Trig Stations P (Old Pukehou), 41A (Mount Arthur), O (Otuarehua), and 39A (Taumata-o-te-Atua), the last-mentioned old trig station being a point on the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block XIII, Tautane Survey District; thence south-easterly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Waimata Stream; thence down the middle of that stream to the point of commencement.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Northland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Northland Licensing Committee on 22 December 1976, made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below:
(a) On every Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public), the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing shall be 11 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public), the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing shall be 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.
(c) On every other day (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public), the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.
