The Narcotics Act 1965: Notice of Authorisation

NOTICE is hereby given that the Minister of Health, acting under section 13 (1) of the Narcotics Act 1965, has authorised Brian William Dumbell, public health pharmacist, of Wellington, to enter the premises of any person who carries on the business of a producer, manufacturer, seller, or distributor of any narcotic, or who otherwise undertakes the supply or administration of any narcotic, and to demand the production of, and to inspect any books or documents relating to dealings in any narcotic and to inspect, weigh, measure, and record the stocks of narcotics.

Setting Apart General Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the general land, described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of Otaika.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land, situated in Block XVI of the Purua Survey District, and described as follows:

National Roads Board: Amending Notice Declaring Part No. 29 State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the National Roads Board hereby amends the notice, dated 3 March 1977, and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 23, page 461, by deleting reference to:
(i) (Tauranga to Piarere) and
(ii) Hamilton

and substituting therefore the references:
(i) (Mt. Maunganui to Piarere) and
(ii) Tauranga.

NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for exclusion of goods as follows from current determinations of the Minister of Customs and for admission of such goods at the rates of duty prescribed under the substantive Tariff item therefor:

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing on or before 19 May 1977. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:
(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.
