Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at
Licensed Premises—Southland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962,
as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I,
Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice
that the Southland Licensing Committee on 4 April 1977 made
an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale
of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following
hours of trading for the licensed premises known as
Invercargill Workingmens Club Incorporated, Invercargill:
(a) On every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
(not being days when licensed premises are required
to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general
public, and not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s
Eve) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in
the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in
the evening.
(b) On every Friday and Saturday (not being days when
licensed premises are required to be closed for the
sale of liquor to the general public, and not being
Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve) the hour of
opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the
hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On every Christmas Eve (not being a day when licensed
premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the general public) the hour of opening
shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of
closing 11 o’clock in the evening.
(d) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when
licensed premises are required to be closed for the
sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of
opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the
hour of closing 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New
Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962,
as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I,
Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice
that the Marlborough Licensing Committee on 31 March 1977
made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for
the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the
following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as
Oxley’s Rock Tavern, Picton:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
(not being days when licensed premises are required
to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general
public, and not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s
Eve) the hours of opening shall be 8 o’clock in the
morning to 1 o’clock in the afternoon, and 4 o’clock
in the afternoon to 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On every Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve (not
being days when licensed premises are required to be
closed for the sale of liquor to the general public)
the hours of opening shall be 8 o’clock in the morning
to 1 o’clock in the afternoon, and 4 o’clock in the
afternoon to 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed
premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the general public), the hour of opening
shall be 8 o’clock in the morning to 1 o’clock in the
afternoon, and 4 o’clock in the afternoon to 0.30

(not being days when licensed premises are required
to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general
public, and not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s
Eve) the hour of opening to be at 11 o’clock in
the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in
the evening.
(b) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s
Eve) and on Christmas Eve (not being days when
licensed premises are required to be closed for the
sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of
opening to be at 11 o’clock in the morning and the
hour of closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

Licensing Owen Garth Woolley to Occupy a Site for a Boat-
building Shed, Three Slipways, a Duckwalk, Two Jetties, and
a Pontoon Jetty on the Tamaki River
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen
John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of
powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license
and permit Owen Garth Woolley (hereinafter called the
licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors,
or assigns unless the context requires a different construction)
to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the
Tamaki River, as shown on plans marked M.D. 9621, 10024,
10092, 12188, and (N) 222 and deposited in the office of the
Ministry of Transport at Auckland, for the purpose of main-
taining thereon a boatbuilding shed, three slipways, a duck-
walk, two jetties, and a pontoon jetty as shown on the said
plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee
upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in
the Schedule hereto. The licences of 29 April 1966* and 21
January 1969† authorising Owen Garth Woolley to occupy
sites for a duckwalk and jetty and a boatbuilding shed and
slipway and the licence of 24 August 1971‡ authorising Owen
Woolley (Boatbuilders) Ltd., to occupy a site for a jetty are
hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
-
This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far
as applicable, apply hereto. -
The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
day of December 1976. -
The premium payable by the licensee shall be forty
dollars ($40) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee
shall be five hundred dollars ($500); provided always that
the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end
of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.
