Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at
Licensed Premises—Dunedin Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act
1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act
1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby
give notice that the Dunedin Licensing Committee, on 22
March 1977, made an order authorising variations of the
usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further
authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed
premises known as Crescent Hotel, Port Chalmers:

(a) On any Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve (not
being days when licensed premises are required to be
closed for the sale of liquor to the general public),
the hour of opening shall be at 11 o’clock in the
morning, and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the
evening.

(b) On any New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed
premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the general public), the hour of opening
shall be 11 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s
Eve, and the hour of closing 0.30 o’clock in the
morning of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act
1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act
1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby
give notice that the Canterbury Licensing Committee, on
16 March 1977, made an order authorising variations of
the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and
further authorised the following hours of trading for the
chartered club known as Staff Club of University of Canter-
bury, Christchurch:

(a) On every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thurs-
day (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve,
and not being a day when licensed premises are
required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the
general public), the hours of opening and closing
shall be in accordance with the club’s charter.

(b) On every Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve (not
being days when licensed premises are required to
be closed for the sale of liquor to the general
public), the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in
the morning, and the hour of closing 11 o’clock
in the evening.

(c) On every New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day (not being
days when licensed premises are required to be
closed for the sale of liquor to the general public),
the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the
morning of New Year’s Eve, and the hour of closing
0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode
Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following
lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been
found—

(i) An area of 3.9684 hectares, or thereabouts,
situated east of and adjoining Marshland Road in
Block VII of the Christchurch Survey District, being
Lot 3, D.P. 3184, part of Rural Section 1477, C.T.
336/308 (Canterbury Registry).

Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1663 Ag. 61422)

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode
Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following
lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been
found—

(i) An area of 14.9101 hectares or thereabouts,
situated south-east of and adjoining Johns Road in
Block VI of the Christchurch Survey District, being
Lot 1, D.P. 1073, Part of Rural Sections 461 and
495, C.T. 154/138 (Canterbury Registry).

(b) Other land within a radius of 80 kilometres of the land
described in paragraph (a) above, being—

(i) An area of 12.5452 hectares, or thereabouts,
situated west of and adjoining Gardiners Road in
Block VI of the Christchurch Survey District, being
Lot 2, D.P. 6479, part of Rural Sections 461 and
492, C.T. 346/128 (Canterbury Registry).

(ii) An area of 4.2896 hectares, or thereabouts,
situated north-west of and adjoining Claridges Road
in Block VI of the Christchurch Survey District, being
Lot D.P. 28744, part of Rural Section 496, C.T.
10K/349 (Canterbury Registry).

(b) Other land within a radius of 80 kilometres of the land
described in paragraph (a) above, being—

(i) An area of 5.2735 hectares, or thereabouts,
situated west of and adjoining Walters Road in Block
VII of the Christchurch Survey District, being part
of Lot 23, D.P. 772, part of Rural Section 6386,
C.T. 550/071 (Canterbury Registry).

6440 and 6440, C.T. 320/083 (Canterbury Registry).
