context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Halfmoon Bay, Stewart Island, as shown on plans marked M.D. 5162, M.D. 6423, and M.D. 13067 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Christchurch, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a shed, walkway, pipeline and tankstand as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
The licence of 16 July 1968*, authorising Skeggs Foods International Ltd., to occupy a site for a walkway and assigned to Kaipipi Fisheries Ltd., on 2 November 1970†, is hereby revoked.
The licence of 26 August 1968‡, authorising P. Feron and Son Ltd., to occupy a site for a pipeline and tankstand, and assigned to Kaipipi Fisheries Ltd§, on 2 November 1970, is hereby revoked.
The licence of 14 June 1962||, authorising Fish Freezers Ltd., to occupy a site for a fish freezing works, and assigned to Skeggs Foods International Ltd., on 16 July 1968¶, and further assigned to Kaipipi Fisheries on 2 December 1970**, is also revoked.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The term of the licence shall be 5 years from the 1st day of March 1977.

The premium payable by the licensee shall be forty-five dollars ($45) and the annual sum payable by the licensees shall be one hundred and fifty dollars ($150); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Canterbury Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Canterbury Licensing Committee, on 16 March 1977, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as New Brighton Workingmen’s Club, Christchurch:
(a) On every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor, and not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve), the hour of opening and closing shall be in accordance with the club charter.
(b) On every Saturday and Christmas Eve (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public), the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning, and the hour of closing shall be 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On every New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public), the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Eve, and the hour of closing 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.
