Land Taken for Street Purposes in the City of Wellington
DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect, on and after the 31st day of March 1977.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 23.37 perches, situated in the City of Wellington, being part Section 171 of the Town of Wellington, part of the said land being also Lot 2, D.P. 11727. All certificate of title, Volume 481, folio 15.
Given under the hand of his Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of March 1977.

Land Taken for State Forest Purposes in Block II, Akatore Survey District, Bruce County

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State forest purposes, and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect, on and after the 31st day of March 1977.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 5 acres and 18 perches, more or less, being part Section 11, Block II, Akatore Survey District. All certificate of title, Volume 255, folio 141 (limited as to parcels and title). As shown on plan S.O. 109, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Dunedin.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of March 1977.

Merger of the Electric Supply Districts of the Thames Valley Electric Power Board and the Te Aroha Borough Council

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 21st day of March 1977

THE HON. D. MACINTYRE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
Interpretation—In this order unless the context otherwise requires—
“Board” means the Thames Valley Electric Power Board.
“Council” means the Te Aroha Borough Council.
“Agreement” means the Agreement for sale and purchase between the Board and the Council dated 12 March 1977. -
Merger of District—The licensed area of supply of the Council as defined in the Te Aroha Borough Council Electric Lines Licence 1976 (dated 31 March 1976) and published in the New Zealand Gazette on 29 April 1976, at p. 984, is hereby included and merged in the Board’s electric power district.
