Declaring Land Taken for Street Diversion in the City of Christchurch

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, and section 191 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street diversion, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, from and after the 17th day of March 1977.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested, and Land Taken and Vested in Block VI, Patetere North Survey District, Matamata County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Matamata; also hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest, as to the area of 1 rood and 24.9 perches thereof, in Stuart John McRae, of Putaruru, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgage S. 169008 and S. 169009, South Auckland Land Registry; as to the area of 1048 square metres thereof in Darcy Andrew Anderson (¾ share) of Putaruru, and Myrtle Lilian Anderson (¼ share) his wife, as tenants-in-common in the said shares, subject to memoranda of mortgage S. 545958 and S. 545949, South Auckland Land Registry; as to the area of 1697 square metres thereof in John Lopdell, police constable, and James Barton Lopdell, farmer, both of Putaruru as tenants-in-common in equal shares, subject to statutory land charge S. 410254 and memorandum of mortgage S. 508189, South Auckland Land Registry; and as to the areas of 1001 square metres and 1123 square metres thereof in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Matamata; and also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29, and declares that the said land shall, when so taken, vest, as to the area of 0.2 perches thereof in the said Stuart John McRae, subject to memoranda of mortgage S. 169008 and S. 169009, South Auckland Land Registry; as to the area of 218 square metres thereof in the said Darcy Andrew Anderson (¾ share) and Myrtle Lilian Anderson (¼ share) as tenants-in-common in the said shares, subject to memoranda of mortgage S. 545958 and S. 545949, South Auckland Land Registry; and as to the areas of 571 square metres and 808 square metres thereof in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Matamata.
