Partly Revoking an Order in Council Declaring Land to be
a Motorway in the City of Wellington

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 8th day of March 1977

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby revokes the Order in Council, dated 22 December 1954, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 22 December 1954, Volume III, at page 2070, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 2391, declaring land to be a motorway, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, the land being no longer required for that purpose.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 4.2050 hectares, situated in Block VII and XII, Belmont Survey District, being part Sections 19 and 21, Porirua District; as shown on plan S.O. 31058, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and thereon marked β€œA”.

Appointment of High Commissioner for New Zealand in Malaysia

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council has been pleased to appoint

Jack Shepherd

to be High Commissioner for New Zealand in Malaysia, under and for the purposes of the Foreign Affairs Act 1943, to hold the said office as on and from the 28th day of February 1977 and ending with the 27th day of February 1980.

Appointment of High Commissioner for New Zealand in Fiji

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council has been pleased to appoint

David Keith McDowell

to be High Commissioner for New Zealand in Fiji, under and for the purposes of the Foreign Affairs Act 1943, to hold the said office as on and from the 14th day of January 1977 until the 13th day of January 1980.

Appointment of High Commissioner for New Zealand in Tonga

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council has been pleased to appoint

Donald Kent Hunn

to be High Commissioner for New Zealand in Tonga, under and for the purposes of the Foreign Affairs Act 1943, to hold the said office as on and from the 19th day of November 1976 until the 18th day of November 1979.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic

His Excellency the Governor-General directs it to be notified that

presented his Letter of Credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic to New Zealand at Government House on Wednesday, 26 January 1977.
