(b) Invite expert opinion if it so wishes, on matters of
a technical nature relating to the materials and safe
design and labelling of children’s nightwear; and
(c) Recommend to the Minister of Trade and Industry
appropriate regulations with respect to the safety
of children’s nightwear.

In the investigation into the safety of children’s night-
wear the committee shall have regard to such matters as
may from time to time be notified to it by the Minister of
Trade and Industry. -
The committee shall report and submit its recommenda-
tions in the form of draft regulations, to the Minister of
Trade and Industry by 18 April 1977.

Appointment of an Honorary Litter Prevention Officer
PURSUANT to section 5 (1) of the Litter Act 1968, the Minister
of Internal Affairs hereby appoints the person, named in the
Schedule hereto, to be a litter prevention officer in an
honorary capacity and to exercise his duty in respect of public
places throughout New Zealand.

Revocation of Appointment of Honorary Launch Wardens
PURSUANT to section 7 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen
John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise
of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby
revoke the appointment* of
Michael Patrick Cameron, and
Kenneth Orton
as honorary launch wardens for the purposes of the Motor
Launch Regulations 1962.
