Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Waikato Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 10 February 1977 made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the general public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below:

(a) On every Christmas Eve (not being a day on which licensed premises are required by law to be totally closed) the hour of opening to be as usual 11 o’clock in the morning, and the hour of closing to be not later than 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day on which licensed premises are required by law to be totally closed), the hour of opening to be as usual 11 o’clock in the morning, and the hour of closing to be not later than 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act, 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 10 February 1977 made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the general public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below:

(a) On every Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve (not being days on which licensed premises are required by law to be totally closed, and not being New Year’s Eve), the hour of opening to be as usual 11 o’clock in the morning, and the hour of closing to be not later than 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day on which licensed premises are required by law to be totally closed) the hour of opening to be as usual 11 o’clock in the morning, and the hour of closing to be not later than 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

(c) The committee also makes the condition that the licensee make provision for the supply of food up until the closing of the bars.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Southland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Southland Licensing Committee on 10 February 1977 made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the general public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as Manapouri Motor Inn, Manapouri:

(a) On every Friday and Saturday (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, and not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve) between 20th day of December and 20th day of February (both dates inclusive), the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every Saturday between 21st day of February and 20th day of April (both dates inclusive), the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On every Christmas Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning, and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.

(d) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Eve, and the hour of closing 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

(e) On every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, and not being days affected by the operation of the provisions of paragraphs (a), (b), (c), and (d) above), the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning, and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

(a) On every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, and not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve), the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning, and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every Friday and Saturday (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) for the period from 1st May to 30th September (both dates inclusive) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On every Friday and Saturday (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, and not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve) for the period from 1st October to 30th April (both dates inclusive),
