NOTICE OF REGISTRATION OF ORDER AND MINUTE
In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of NEWTON KING LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at New Plymouth in New Zealand, and carrying on business primarily as a stock and station agency company:

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 17th day of December 1976, confirming the reduction of paid-up capital of the abovenamed company from $3,237,719 to $3,065,769 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 14th day of February 1977.

The said minute is in the words and figures following:

β€œFollowing the sanctioning of a scheme of arrangement on the 17th day of December 1976 whereby each of the existing 349,000 fully paid 6% cumulative preference shares were cancelled and in exchange therefor 157,050 ordinary shares of $1 each credited as fully paid up were issued with a consequent reduction of share capital of $191,950 the capital of Newton King Limited is as follows:

Authorised Capital: $7,000,000.

Issued and paid-up Capital: $3,065,769 divided into 3,065,769 ordinary shares of $1 each having been reduced from $3,237,719 divided into 349,000 6% cumulative preference shares of $1 each and 2,908,719 ordinary shares of $1 each.”

IN THE MATTER OF A BILL INTITULED
SEDDON SHIELD DISTRICTS TROTTING JACKPOT EMPOWERING

NOTICE is hereby given that Brian Wotherspoon Nixon, Andrew Archer, Arthur Edward Cresswell, and Philip Digby James, as trustees of the jackpot pool in respect of nonterminating jackpots instituted by the Greymouth Trotting Club (Incorporated), the Reefton Trotting Club (Incorporated), and the Marlborough Trotting Club (Incorporated), in the year 1971 and first conducted by the Greymouth Trotting Club (Incorporated) at its meeting on the 18th day of October 1971 (none of which jackpots was struck by any investor) hereby gives notice of their intention to apply for leave to bring in a Bill authorising the division of the net sum lying to the credit of the above-mentioned jackpot pool (less costs) into three equal parts and that one of such parts shall be paid to each of the Greymouth Trotting Club (Incorporated), the Reefton Trotting Club (Incorporated) and the Marlborough Trotting Club (Incorporated) for the sole purpose of using such respective part in conducting a terminating non-contributory jackpot by each of the above-mentioned clubs at its first trotting meeting after the passing of any Act passed, in pursuance of the above-mentioned Bill.

The promoters of the Bill are the abovenamed, BRIAN WOTHERSPOON NIXON, ANDREW ARCHER, ARTHUR EDWARD CRESSWELL and PHILIP DIGBY JAMES, whose addresses for service are at the offices of Messrs Guinness & Kitchingham, Barristers and Solicitors, Guinness Street, Greymouth.

A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the office of the Magistrate Courts in Greymouth, Westport, and Blenheim.

NOTICE is hereby given that New Zealand Permanent Building Society (formerly Otago Building Society) whose registered office is at Otago House, Moray Place, Dunedin, desires to accept a transfer of the engagements of Christchurch Mutual Building Society and that the first-named society has applied to the Registrar of Building Societies to confirm the transfer notwithstanding that the consent in writing of the holders of two-thirds of the whole number of shares in the said society has not been obtained in manner required by the Building Societies Act 1965.
