  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
    Notice, Whangarei 1977, No. 17.
  2. The lands described in the Schedule hereto are hereby
    declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs
    Act 1953.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto are
hereby set apart as a Maori reservation, for the purpose of
a recreation reserve for the common use and benefit of the
Patuawai people.

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First
Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was
declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of
the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas by reason of a
change of appellation following survey it is considered
necessary to replace the notice aforesaid.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori
Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice
as follows.

N O T I C E

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
    Notice, Whangarei 1977, No. 14.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
    hereby revoked, being replaced to the extent necessary, by
    Maori Land Development Notices, Whangarei 1977, Nos. 15
    to 18.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at
Licensed Premises—Manawatu Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act
1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act
1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby
give notice that the Manawatu Licensing Committee on 3
February 1977, made orders authorising variations of the
usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further
authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed
premises specified in the Schedule below:

(a) On every Friday and Saturday (not being days when
licensed premises are required to be closed for the
sale of liquor to the general public), the hour of
opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the
hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.
