Approval of Qualified Person for the Purposes of Section 402 of the Companies Act 1955

PURSUANT to section 402 of the Companies Act 1955, I hereby approve

Harold Neil Hewitt

a partner in the firm of Touche Ross & Company, Royal Exchange Building, 440 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, to be a qualified person for the purposes of that section in respect of the accounts of T. & G. Fire and General Insurance Company Ltd. The approval of John Mervyn Forbes Relph as a qualified person in respect of that company, dated 6th September 1972, and published on page 1992 in the New Zealand Gazette, dated 21 September 1972, is hereby revoked.

The approval of Francis Mitchell Donald Jackett and Frederick Norris Summerhayes as qualified persons in respect of that company, dated 30 November 1971, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, dated 9 December 1971, is hereby revoked.

National Standards Regulations 1976—Appointing a Verifying Authority
