Re-defining the Limits of Wellington Harbour

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 7th day of February 1977
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby redefines the Harbour* of Wellington as being all that area of the sea and tidal waters described in the First and Second Schedules hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE outer limits being the arc of a circle running from the landward boundary of the foreshore at Fitzroy Bay, and thence into Cook Strait, and thence to the landward boundary of the foreshore at Island Bay, such arc being an arc of a circle of three nautical miles radius and having its centre at a point on the Outer Rock in the Harbour of Wellington, such point being 27222.7 links S. and 24374 links E. of Mount Cook Trig in the City of Wellington, and such are being as shown by the line coloured blue on the plan marked M.D. 10371 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE inner limits being a straight line across the Hutt River at the seaward side of the Hutt Estuary road bridge and a straight line across the Waiwhetu Stream at the seaward side of the Port Road bridge as shown on the plan marked M.D. 15802, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Authorising the Rodney County Council to Reclaim Crown Land from the Bed of Whangateau Harbour

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 7th day of February 1977
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175 (3) and subject to sections 176 to 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Rodney County Council to reclaim from the bed of Whangateau Harbour an area of 2014 square metres, more or less, of Crown land, as shown on plan M.D. 15815 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, providing that the area when reclaimed is reserved for recreation purposes subject to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and vested in the Council.

Authorising Wanganui City Council to Reclaim Tidal Land from the Bed of the Wanganui River

THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175 (3) and subject to sections 176 to 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby authorises the Wanganui City Council to reclaim from the bed of the Wanganui River an area of 1200 square metres, more or less, of Wanganui Harbour Board endowment land, as shown coloured blue on plan M.D. 15801, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Vesting Reclaimed Land in the City of Manukau

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 7th day of February 1977
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175B (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in the Manukau City Council the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land was authorised for reclamation by Order in Council of 26 February 1968*, such land to be vested as a recreation reserve, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953.
SCHEDULE
- All that piece of reclaimed Crown foreshore at Tamaki River, situated in Block III, Otahuhu Survey District, containing 385 square metres, as shown marked A on plan S.O. 51119, now numbered M.D. 15799.
- All that piece of reclaimed Crown foreshore at Tamaki River, situated in Block III, Otahuhu Survey District, containing 1835 square metres, as shown marked B on plan S.O. 51119, now numbered M.D. 15799.
The District Land Registrar is hereby authorised to make such entries in his register as are necessary to give effect to this order.
