WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Public notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person directly affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work, or to the taking of such land not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation and to send such written objection to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Wellington, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES

Public notice is hereby given that the Hamilton City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for drainage purposes to wit the realignment of the Waitawhiriwhiri Stream, and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required is deposited at the office of the Council, Worley Street, Hamilton, and is there open for inspection by all persons on any week day except holidays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4.45 p.m.

Every person directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have an objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the 9th day of December 1977, being the date of the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, at Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
