Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Land Taken in
Block III, Highlay Survey District, and Blocks IX, X, and
XIV, Swinburn Survey District, Waihemo County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby pro-
claims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto,
hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second
Schedule hereto and hereby takes the land described in the
Third Schedule for the purpose of subsection 6 of the
said section 29 and declares that the road described in the
said Second Schedule when so closed shall vest in Norman
McLeod Freeland, of Palmerston, farmer, subject to mortgage
Nos. 306917 and 338084, and pursuant to section 30 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers
Control Act 1941, and that the land described in the said
Third Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in Francis Bagley
Thurlow and Noel Francis Thurlow, of Morrisions, farmers.
