Cancellation of the Vesting in the Taupo Borough Council and Revocation of the Reservation over Part of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Taupo, and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for recreation purposes, described in the Schedule hereto.

Appointment of the Chatham Islands Gun Club Incorporated to Control and Manage a Reserve

The Opua Recreation Area Notice 1977

PURSUANT to section 63A of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), the Minister of Forests hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a recreation area to be known as the Opua Recreation Area, for the purpose of public recreation.

All that area of Whitby bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the Porirua City and Hutt County boundary with the southern side of Omapere Street; thence south-easterly generally along the said boundary to its intersection point with the Lower Hutt City boundary; thence by a right line to the southern side of the intersection of No. 58 State Highway (Haywards–Paremata) and Paekakariki Hill Road; thence westerly generally along the southern side of the said State highway to its intersection point with the Porirua City and Hutt County boundary; thence south-westerly generally along the said boundary to the commencing point.

The Traffic (Hawera County) Notice No. 2, 1977

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hawera County) Notice No. 2, 1977.
2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 21, of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
3. The Traffic Notice dated the 25th day of January 1966†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Hawera County at Okaiawa, is hereby revoked.
