International Air Transport Association Restricted Articles Regulations
THE 20th edition of the IATA Restricted Articles Regulations
came into force on the 1st day of November 1977. These
regulations which form part of the Civil Aviation Safety
Order No. 13, and are issued in New Zealand under the
authority of regulation 31 of the Civil Aviation Regulations
1953, prescribe an extensive schedule of items, the carriage
by air of which is prohibited or which may only be carried
subject to specified conditions or restrictions.
Copies of these regulations are available from the Government Printer, International Section, Private Bag, Wellington,
at a cost of $14.25 each.

Kiwifruit Marketing and Licensing Regulations 1977
PURSUANT to the requirements of the Kiwifruit Marketing and
Licensing Regulations 1977, and the establishment of a Kiwi-
fruit Marketing and Licensing Authority, kiwifruit growers
in all geographical areas are advised that the electoral roll
for the Northern and Southern Wards will be made available
for inspection over a period of 14 days during normal office
hours at the following places: Ministry of Agriculture and
Fisheries offices in: Whangarei; Auckland; Tauranga; Palmer-
ston North; Whakatane; Opotiki; Gisborne; Hastings; Nelson;
and in Te Puke at Central Post Office, Jellicoe Street; and
in Wellington, Office of New Zealand Citrus and Subtropical
Council Inc., Huddart Parker Building, Second Floor, Custom
House Quay.

Licensing Wrightson National Mortgage and Agency Co.
of New Zealand Ltd. to use and occupy a part of the Fore-
shore and Bed of the sea at Moeraki Port
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen
John Conway of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of
powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license
and permit Wrightson National Mortgage and Agency Co. of
New Zealand Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term
shall include its successors or assigns unless the context
requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of
the foreshore and bed of the sea as shown on plan marked
M.D. (S) 204 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of
Transport at Christchurch, for the purpose of maintaining
thereon a slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence
to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to
the terms and conditions set forth in the schedule hereo.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
far as applicable, apply hereto. - The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
day of November 1977. - The premium payable by the licensee shall be fifteen
dollars ($15) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee
shall be forty dollars; ($40); provided always that the Minister
may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first
year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws
Pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950,
I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport in
exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport,
hereby approve the Rotorua City Council Lake Foreshore
and City Waters Control Bylaw 1973 Amendment No. 4
1977, made at a meeting of the Rotorua City Council, held
on 18 July 1977, and confirmed at a meeting of the Council,
held on 15 August 1977. This amendment shall come into
force on the date that this notice appears in the New Zealand
Gazette.

Declaration that Land in the Gisborne Land District is no longer a Water Area for the Purposes of Section 50 of the Land Act 1948
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 50 of the Land Act 1948, the Land Settlement Board hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is no longer a Water Area for the purposes of the said section.

Approval of Flashing Amber Lights for Certain Vehicles
Pursuant to regulation 67 (8) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves the fitting of flashing amber lights to signs mounted on vehicles, used exclusively or principally by the Anchorage Trust Board for piloting a horse drawn stage coach subject to each of the following conditions.
- This approval applies only to the vehicle mounted sign on the two vehicles piloting the horse drawn stage coach.
- The flashing lights shall be erected on each corner of the vehicle mounted pilot sign.
- The lights and signs shall be removed or covered at any time that the vehicles are used for any purpose other than piloting the stage coach.
- This approval shall expire at the completion of the fund raising trip of the North and South Island arranged by the Anchorage Trust Board for November and December 1977.
