A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, the Right Honour-
able Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and the
land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for soil conservation and river control purposes; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
10th day of November 1977.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Land Taken for Road
All those pieces of land, situated in Block XI, Hukerenui
Survey District, described as follows:

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes
All that piece of land containing 86 square metres, situated
in Block XI, Hukerenui Survey District, and being part Puhi-
puhi 4A No. 2 Block; marked "C" on plan.
As shown on plan S.O. 50318, lodged in the office of the
Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon marked as above-
mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand this
3rd day of November 1977.

Alteration of Boundaries—City of Hamilton and Counties of
Waikato and Waipa

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 7th day of
November 1977
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following
order.
ORDER

1. This order shall come into force on the 7th day of
   November 1977.
2. The boundaries of Hamilton City and Waikato County
   shall be altered by excluding from the district of Waikato
   County and including in the district of Hamilton City the
   areas described in the First Schedule to this order.
3. The boundaries of Hamilton City and Waipa County
   shall be altered by excluding from the district of Waipa
   County and including in the district of Hamilton City the
   areas described in the Second Schedule to this order.
   FIRST SCHEDULE
   AREAS TO BE EXCLUDED FROM WAIKATO COUNTY AND
   INCLUDED IN HAMILTON CITY
   Firstly, all that area in the South Auckland Land District,
   Waikato County, containing 304 hectares, more or less,
   bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the
   Waikato River and the Kirikirihoa Stream in Block XIII,
   Komakorau Survey District, being a point on the boundary of
   the City of Hamilton as described in New Zealand Gazette,
   1965, page 172, and proceeding north-westerly down the
   middle of the Waikato River to a point in line with the
   north-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. S. 8875, situated in
   Block IX, Komakorau Survey District; thence generally
   north-easterly to and along that boundary and the south-
   western, north-western, and north-eastern boundaries of Lot
   1, D.P. S. 8072, to the eastern corner of that lot; thence
   north-easterly along a right line across River Road to the
   western corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 15104, and along the north-
   western boundaries of the said Lot 1 and Lot 2, D.P. S. 15104,
   to and north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of
   Lots 7 and 8, D.P. S. 10779, to the western corner of Lot 1.
