Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Manukau City Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for esplanade purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Manukau, in trust, for that purpose.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve and Vesting in the Waitemata City Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for a site for a public hall to a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Waitemata, in trust, for recreation purposes.

PURSUANT to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Bay of Islands County Council, pursuant to the said section 191B, and as from the date of this notice the land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Revocation of Appointment of Piako County Council and Appointment of Taupiri Drainage and River Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Piako County Council as published in the notice, dated 27 September 1976, and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 104, 7 October 1976, page 2286, and appoints the Taupiri Drainage and River Board to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for local purpose (soil conservation and river control).

Revocation of the Reservation over Reserves Specifying the Manner of Disposal and how Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as reserves for road purposes over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Christchurch City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.
