Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and not Required for that Purpose to be Crown Land in the City of Auckland

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 3rd day of February 1977.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Hamilton City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation reserves.

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to form part of the Lake Okareka Scenic Reserve, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Rotorua County Council.
