Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club Premises—Taranaki Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as substituted by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Taranaki Licensing Committee on 30 September 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to chartered club members, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the chartered club premises known as Stratford and District Returned Services Association Club Incorporated, Stratford:

(a) On each and every Friday (not being a day when chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members) the premises shall close for the sale of liquor no later than 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On Christmas Eve (not being a day when chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members) the premises shall close for the sale of liquor no later than 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year’s Eve (not being a day when chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members) the premises shall close no later than 0.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.

Provided, however, that the premises shall not be open for the sale of liquor, for more than:

(i) Eleven hours on any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

(ii) Twelve hours on any Friday or Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve) or Christmas Eve.

(iii) Thirteen and one half hours on New Year’s Eve.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as substituted by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Northland Licensing Committee on 5 October 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the chartered club premises known as Bream Bay Club Incorporated, Ruakaka:

(a) On every Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve (not being days when chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 0.30 o’clock in the morning on New Year’s Day.

(c) On every other day (not being a day when chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as substituted by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Taranaki Licensing Committee on 30 September 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as Urenui Hotel, Urenui:

(a) That on each Friday, Saturday, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the premises shall close at 11 o’clock in the evening.

Provided however that:

(i) Adequate food be available for patrons until 10.45 o’clock in the evening on those days when the premises remain open after 10 o’clock in the evening pursuant to this order.

(ii) The premises shall not be open for the sale of liquor for more than:

  1. Eleven hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

  2. Twelve hours on any Friday, Saturday, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.

(b) That on New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the premises shall close at 0.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.

Provided however, that:

(i) The premises shall not be open for the sale of liquor for more than:

  1. Eleven hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as substituted by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the East Coast Licensing Committee on 5 October 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as Frasertown Tavern, Frasertown:

(a) On every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, nor days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve) and on Christmas Eve (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.
