NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo District Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to execute a certain public work, namely, a drainage reserve,
and for the purpose of such public work the land described in
the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. Every person
affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking
of the said land should, if they have any objection to the
execution of the said work or the taking of the said land,
not being an objection to the amount of payment of compen-
sation, set forth the same in writing and send the written
application to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board
within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a
public hearing to the objection shall be held, unless the objec-
tor otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND
HELD

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of section
20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, that the Napier
City Council proposes to change the purpose for which it
holds the land, described in the Schedule hereto, from its
present designation for building sites to its proposed designa-
tion for drainage purposes. And notice is hereby given that a
plan of the said land is deposited in the public office of the
Napier City Council, situated in Hastings Street, Napier, and
is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during
ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the proposal
should, if they have any objection to the proposed change
of purpose for which the said land is held, set forth such
objection in writing and send the same to the Napier City
Council at its office aforesaid within forty (40) days of the
first publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land, situated in the City of Napier, con-
taining 2090 square metres, more or less, being part Lot
23, Deeds Plan 133, situated in Blocks IV and VIII. Here-
taunga Survey District, as the same is more particularly
